iOS 5 Beta 6 Released to Developers

Apple has recently released iOS 5 beta 6 for iPhone 4, 3G, 3GS, iPad, iPad 2, iPod Touch 4G for the developers. In iOS 5 beta 6 Apple has maximized improvements, have fixed previous bugs along with stability and this is the third version of Apple’s beta software to be delivered over-the-air to devices. Just like the previous versions of iOS 5 beta 5, you need to have an Apple registered developer license to download this latest version.

In iOS 5 beta 6 you will see the feature of overhauled notification system, this notification system queues up notifications sent by all application, in this version you will notice a new messaging platform called iMessage which will allow you to send free texting and chatting among iOS users just like BlackBerry Messenger. It also brings enhancements to Mobile Safari, especially the iPad version, and system-wide Twitter integration.

Apple warns the developer that the iOS 5 beta 6 version should only be downloaded on devices that are used for development purposes only.

“This version of iOS is intended only for installation on development devices registered with Apple’s Developer Program. Attempting to install this version of iOS in an unauthorized manner could put your device in an unusable state, which could necessitate an out of warranty repair.” Apple INC.

Note: Apple has also released a new developer build of iWork for iOS tincluding tie-ins to its upcoming iCloud service.
